Why should I care?

Domestic energy use accounts for approx 27% of the UK’s carbon dioxide emissions. The last Government introduced a number of energy saving initiatives, including EPC’S, aimed at making buildings more energy efficient. These measures are applied across the European Union countries.

What is an Energy Performance Certificate?

EPC’S look similar to the energy labels found on domestic appliances like fridges and washing machines. The energy efficiency and environmental impact on your property will be rated on a scale from A to G (where A is the most efficient and G the least efficient). Current running costs for heating, hot water, and lighting will also be shown on the certificate, together with a list of recommended energy saving improvements.

How do I get an Energy Performance Certificate?

TARGET PROPERTY PERFORMANCE is able to offer you this through our accredited and affiliated Energy Assessor Tom Le Gallez. He is qualified to provide you with an EPC for all types of residential property.

Once you have ordered an EPC from us, he will visit your property to assess its age, construction and location, as well as its current fittings such as heating systems, insulation and double glazing.
